At the Redd School, we understand that today, more than ever, technology plays an integral role in how young people learn, develop and interact with the world around them. In order to meet these needs, we’ve developed a core of STEM-focused (science, technology, engineering and math) projects and programs.
The STEM curriculum integrates multiple learning environments in order to foster experiential learning and facilitate inquiry-based, student-centered experiences. Our cross-curricular technology applications include:
In addition to these technological modules, the Redd School also has a radio station on its campus, where our students can learn and practice radio and broadcasting techniques.
The STEM curriculum is designed to stimulate higher-order thinking skills and creativity. We believe STEM-based learning builds on the technological skills developed with added cross-curricular concept knowledge and mastery.
